Blog > Ways to Make Your Child's Birthday Extra Special in these Crazy Times!

Trying to make your child’s birthday can be stressful as is. Add a pandemic to the mix and you’ll be left wondering how to make it super special – especially if you can’t have a party. Here are a few ideas to hopefully help your child’s special day even better!

(1) Have a local sign company like Sign Dreamers set up a huge “Happy Birthday” sign in your front yard!

(2) Create a Birthday video from all their friends and loved ones!

(3) Invite your family and friends to decorate their cars, honk their horns, and drive by your home to say “Happy Birthday” from a socially safe distance!

(4) Deck out your house in birthday decorations! Just because there isn’t a party, doesn’t mean you can’t fill the house with balloons and fun streamers. The kids will love it!

(5) Make it a “Yes Day!” Let your child make all the decisions for the day – make or order whatever food they want, rent the movie they’ve been wanting to watch, spend the day at a local, non-crowded beach… whatever makes them smile!
